Because Microsoft priced the Surface Book with a discrete GPU to run against the 15" MBP.

The 15" model has four full speed. Only the 13" has the limited right hand side ports. Shitty, but I think realistically anyone who is using the full 40Gb/s of TB3 is probably using the 15" since it’s the only one that is remotely close to “Pro”. Those people also probably don’t need color coded ports.
I don’t necessarily disagree with you completely, but USB-C can do the same. I’m not sure how many cables are out yet but “USB Alt Mode” supports a direct USB-C to HDMI Male cable.
So the neat trick is shove the spoon through the top? Good thing they made an instructional video.
Yeah, for people who support someone who ran on the attitude of fuck the politically correct status quo, they sure can be uptight when someone says something they don’t like.
Making a politically charged statement isn’t the same thing as denying service. Get back to us when he actually fires someone because of their vote.
The difference is that society in general has agreed that certain hateful attitudes are bad. Whereas we’ve decided that bullshit “immorality” (promiscuity, homosexuality, etc.) is exactly that, bullshit. It’s a completely different situation.
Which could just as easily been the person’s finger directly on the Play-Doh.
What nefarious purposes can it be used for? No one is forcing anyone to buy the gloves.
It used play-doh... along with a perfect clay mold of someone’s fingerprint. There have been zero hacks of TouchID (or other phone fingerprint readers) where a print is lifted in a non-controlled environment.
That is an absolutely ridiculous analogy.
Let’s not make this a bigger deal than it needs to be. He posted a picture of a ballot on Twitter, the world will be fine.
It’s completely relevant, because I was pointing out that your original comment depends entirely on personal preference. Bluetooth headphones are an upgrade if you value the convenience of wireless over sound quality.
There’s nothing wrong with that opinion.
Thank you for the correction, but that doesn’t change my point at all.
The vast majority of people aren’t chasing perfect audio quality over everything else.
Depends entirely on what you want out of your headphones. If people only cared about sound quality, then the world would be filled only with big over-ear cans, which isn’t the case.
Yes, that would be the best idea. I think this is for people who have multiple headphones/other aux cables they think they’ll be using.
It really is good enough in most cases. Unless you have a habit of parking on steep hills or your car gets hit, you’re not going to cause any meaningful wear in the lifetime of your car.
Nyko makes a compatible wireless controller for $19.99 (I think it may have been posted here a couple days ago). They also sell a 6 ft extension cord for the stock controllers at $9.99. Both will be ready to go in late November apparently.
The controller cable length sounds like an extremely dumb decision. It’s insane that there was definitely a meeting at some point, and someone said “yeah, I think 2.5 feet will do,” and then people agreed with them.
