You’re right on all counts. As a guy who grew up in Chicago, I also walked briskly through rough sections of my neighborhood and kept my head on a swivel, which I guess looks suspicious and, ironically, made ME a suspect.

It’s amazing how consistently the entire justice system has vastly more compassion and empathy for the perpetrator than the victim when the crime is rape. It’s just so UNFAIR to ruin a nice boy’s life over a little crime like that.
Donald Glover did a great bit about this exact predicament. The gist of it was that while a lot of guys have somewhat amusing/outlandish stories about "crazy girlfriends", women do not have the same sort of stories, because "IF YOU HAVE A CRAZY BOYFRIEND, YOU GONNA DIE".
