At the end of that Nintendo press release: “Content packs cannot be purchased individually.”

The DLC expansion for Mario Kart 8 was actually pretty good, so if it’s anything close to that, I am not too mad this was offered as DLC.

I think he likes to talk tough to compensate for the fact he’s terrified of stairs.

6 seconds times minimum 30 gives 180 frames to talk about! 11 times 60 divided by 180 gives ~3.5 seconds bout each frame! And he still needs to breathe. Piece of cake.

I’m defending the boss fights, they were really cool. There’s an obvious one that has issues but reviews are too harsh on it.

i’ve had a pretty shitty life, all of it with two arms - maybe its the extra arm thats holding me back!

Now playing

Anyone who liked Doom (so basically anyone who played it) should watch this documentary series on how they scrapped Dooom 4 and created one of the best shooters of 2016. Super fun watch. Also, can we just take a moment to admit that this was the year of the first person shooter? But, like, in a good way? Overwatch,

For me, Thumper taking the rhythm game and making a truly surreal industrial oppressive frightening experience of it was a really nice surprise.

Good list though, wasn’t complaining. :)

The only good thing about X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the video game.

That would make sense, especially given that Nintendo has always seemed to highlight big indies.

Nintendo gave up on the Wii U like two years ago so it’s really hard to blame anyone for doing it now!

The demo is also finally coming to Xbox One on 12/9 and PC on 12/19! I’ve been patient wanting to play this for the past 6 months and I’ll finally be able.

Yes. This needs to be moved up the food chain. The New York Times is the only outlet I’ve seen that actually got the headline right.

perfect dark and feeling old? n64 isnt that old - says old guy

It’s also a part of Rare Replay as well! Perfect Dark is one of my all time favourite games (is it better than Goldeneye? Yes, yes it is..apart from how silly and alien-y the story gets at the end) and I would happily convince others to still play it today!

My poor aching back

I remember playing Perfect Dark but do not remember the Counter-Op mode, it sounds so awesome!

I mean, “back in the day” is admittedly a dramatic turn of phrase. It’s been sixteen years though and gaming years are a bit like dogs years...

Still pretending AoS is bad?

3/10 try harder next time
