Alas, I was looking forward to an ending where it showed a succession of everyone just hanging up without saying goodbye because they always do that in movies, but it was not to be.

Yeah, that's kind of wonky. I suppose if you really want more challenge, the Super Mario Advance 2 version has additional challenges like collecting 5 dragon coins in each level that add a little more replay value.
It's weird that people keep hounding him about playing Walter White again. What exactly do they want to see? Breaking Bad was probably the most definitively, no-strings-left-untied, completely and unambiguously "ended" show ever on television. What more is there?
Looks like the 3DS eShop has only the NES games. Which is kind of weird, since on the Wii U there are three different ways you can get it through the eShop (Wii Shop, Wii U eShop, and Super Mario Advance 2 on the Wii U eShop).
They are twins, that is why.
You're right about at the point where the challenge kicks in (the Cheese Bridge levels are really where it starts getting tougher).
It's pretty damn good, but I still think Super Mario World is my favorite, personally.
I played it quite a bit with siblings as well, though it was always frustrating how one player would move to the next "world," leaving the other player behind. It always felt like Mario and Luigi should at least progress to the same world together.
It's not strictly a technological limitation. After all, several of the other games used for contrast (the american Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3) ran on the same console.
One thing's for sure, they're definitely using all that revenue to pay out fairly for claims, not just funneling everything into advertising.
Well, I don't think Elizabeth Meriwether had anything to do with any of those.
Can they also sue the makers of "Friends with Benefits" for releasing effectively the exact same movie as "No Strings Attached" in the same month?
There's a pretty good one in Mission: Impossible III that they left out as well.

I think he was being sarcastic since later he says that the character in the song "should not have brought up that she enjoyed Mr. Mister in the '80s."
We already had "Battleship: The Movie" and "Classic Battleship: Movie Edition" so any concerns about culture going full-on Ouroboros seem belated.
It was perfect, until you went and fucked it all up with that edit.
Yeah, I was going to say she's pretty great in The One I Love. I do kind of get the self-conscious acting thing from her, though. It worked in The One I Love because the whole movie is about the characters hyper-examining each other's behavior and playing roles and whatnot, but it can be distracting sometimes on Mad…
Yeah, CGI blood always winds up looking like it's made of Capri Sun or something.
Yeah, Metroid is probably the best candidate (since it's essientially Alien), but the story of the games is still pretty much entirely based around collecting power-ups, which isn't really a good movie plot.
