Hahahahaha.
Hahahahaha.
I'm pretty disappointed in this. I mean, these are great games, but it seems like people just voted based on what they like that's out. I personally voted for Tomb Raider, a game in a series I have basically never respected, because they bravely showed tons of new gameplay that was really unique and impressive, …
I must say, Tomb Raider was the biggest shock for me. I literally laughed at my brother when he told me that I "need to check out this new Tomb Raider trailer. It looks awesome!"
Two thoughts:
Hahaha, someone was fucking WAILING on top of that video.
Ah, gotcha. I still wouldn't be too worried though; I don't think I heard much about the actual ending in there, and Serah getting crystallized is something that not only happens in most of the trailers, but also happens in the beginning scene, if i'm not mistaken. I'd say any plot you can pull from this is extremely…
I hope this art book doesn't have pictures of the last boss in it like Mass Effect 2's did. If it does, at the very least, it could include a page that says there are spoilers inside, like the Metal Gear Peacewalker one did.
@FNG: Thanks for this; I was thumbing through the comments trying to find info on the artist.
Looks....unimpressive, I dunno. I will play it, because it is Final Fantasy, and I play all Final Fantasy, but I'll do it very begrudgingly and passive-aggressively.
@Reverse Alpha: Lightning does not die at the end of XIII, if that's what you are thinking; that's a new twist. If you mean that Sera get's uncrystallized, then yeah, I guess that's a spoiler, but a pretty guessable one, no?
The invisible fight seemed a bit familiar, but the gun that shoots orbs that expand? Cannot unsee the similarities.
Man....just how much do these guys like the Incredibles?
As others have said below, I'm interested to see if they will allow this feature to be used with a simple headset, both on 360 AND PS3.
@hollohill: I see where you are coming from, but I think the goal is to make it a more immersive experience, and like it or not, menus are literally the opposite of immersion into a world and story. There will come a day when I'll be playing RPGs with little-to-no menus whatsoever, and I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad…
That's fine that you don't like them, but to say they aren't innovative is another thing. The great things about their innovation is that it isn't bullet points on a box "Over 500 weapons!" "Combine to make infinite new ways to play!" "Jetpacks!" Their innovation is actual immersive experiences that I have never…
@Ian Paul Freeley: Dude, I know you're trolling, but no innovation from Uncharted? Seriously?
Woah, whoah, whoah, was that a new colossi at about 1:37 or has it just been that long since I've played this game? I've played through it twice! God, it would be incredible if they did add some of the cut bosses (I seem to remember a gorilla one), but I know in my heart that my memory is just failing me.
I like the XIII console's color scheme a lot, but overall I'd have to go with the Tales ones.
Oh wow, they are going to get their collective asshole shredded in this comments section.
Hell, at this point, being able to compare something I find to something I have equipped without going into a menu—and even being able to equip it right there, at that!—is almost a selling point in itself.
