@PossibleCabbage: Just to play devil's advocate, after playing MMOs for years, I have decided to only play console MMOs from now on, because I am tired of playing something that boils down to a pretty spread sheet.

@Levo: True, but not by nearly as much as they once did , and that is with PS3s still being in short supply (though that problem seems to be disappearing, finally). Can't comment on how much the new 360 with impact sales long-term, like the PS3 Slim's did (with accompanying price drop)

@Levo: He has a fair point, actually. Wii sales slowly slipping more and more; casual games not selling as well; parents, grandparents, and tv shows no longer talking about. I think Nintendo realized that they would be in a "dry spell" relatively soon if they continued on as they had, so back to the old bitch they go.

God, new Cole's appearance and voice are just so much better.

@0suited: If it were "bad", it wouldn't be one of the highest rated PS3 games. I can understand someone simply not liking it, but if I had to guess from you're juvenile tone, I'd say they would need to add a horde mode in order for you to enjoy it. Possibly tits.

@rouken: If you go back and read the article from...last year? Early this year? When they were talking about the voice actor change, opinions were almost unanimous that he needed to be changed. Now that he HAS changed, everyone's opinions seem to be shifted, though I'm sure the average person playing this game will…

I've never played any of this series, but I've always wanted to.

@benihime: Agreed. I was at work when the device was at work, and quickly realized that I could never own one with that (teal and black) color scheme. The two tone looks absolutely abominable to me.

Eh, I dunno. Maybe I'm just starting to show my age, but watching super flashy, ungrounded fighting just doesn't do it for me like it used to. Nothing in this was even new or interesting, save for the disintegrated troopers, which actually was pretty badass.
