I would probably dig their games if I could take them seriously. The humor is way too much for me, as someone who doesn't find them funny in the least. They eschew as many Japanese-game stereotypes as they propagate.

Would have vastly preferred HD sprites, but this will do. Guess I can't rule it out in the future, if this is successful. There's just something about that 3D, "edgy" Sonic that makes me roll my eyes. The old Sonic had this sort of quiet innocence to him.

It doesn't feel like they got the side quests and exploration quite right in Mass Effect 1 OR 2.
