Black women were pretty much not to be found in the Sufragette movement because at that time, the black and Asian (Indian subcontinent) population of the UK was miniscule. Large-scale immigration from the West Indies and other Commonwealth areas into the UK didn’t start until the late 1940s. Take a look at old photos
