Fully agree in the broad strokes. The only issue is that the NFL is standing on a soap box breathlessly explaining how much more they're doing and will do. As soon as they started making claims as to how great their initiatives would be, they deserve the scrutiny applied here.

Here's another good view of a Brisbane show. The camera angle makes it look like the plane is actually part of the fireworks (and the timing seems better than the others... probably because of the angle). F-111 comes in at 0:15.

Great videos — this one of the Olympics doesn't cut back to the interior stadium shot, so it can be seen flying over the bridge before the fireworks start.
