TextHelp Read&Write is a software designed for persons with learning disabilities but it helpful for everyone. It has predictive text, dictionary, screen masking (for people who get lost looking at too many lines of text), speech to text, and text to speech. My organization just bought it for all of our 30k employees

This is really helpful! My assistant quit today and her last day is the first day of classes so, yeah, will be using this a lot over the next month.

Thank you for posting this photo from my grandmother’s kitchen, complete with her corningware and club crackers. Growing up we ate ham salad exactly twice a year: immediately after Christmas and Easter. When there’s not enough leftover ham for a good slice, you make ham salad. then when the bone is clean you put it in

I wish the US would make this federal law but it’s already happening at a local level. New York City amended their already ahead of the curve Sick Leave law to new include Safe Leave. Employers with more than 5 employees must provide 5 paid days off per year, and those with less than 5 employees must give 5 unpaid

Congratulations! I bought a year ago and it was the best feeling in the world. My SM profile photos are of me popping champagne rigght after getting the keys.

I saw the title and started singing Pink Moon immediately

Oh Lea Thompson... the lady who was Lorraine McFly deserves better than this.

I wasn’t going to respond to this but I really want to dig into the socioeconomic implications of this comment.
A black female small business owner has a conflict with an internet personality. So she’s labeled a bitch. Her product is duped by a multibillion dollar company with brand recognition and nostalgic equity.

I am not a major makeup wearer but seeing a lot of noise about this on Black Twitter/ Black Facebook. The general opinion seems to be that this is an attempt to capitalize on the popularity of The Crayon Case, a minority-owned makeup company. As someone said”rather than collaborate, they copy”.
If nothing else, I hope

I just started watching Westworld and binged it all in 2 1/2 days. Thandie is stunningly talented (basically the only person that made 2015's The Slap worth watching through to the end), and her red carpet looks are consistently elegant and effortless.

Yep, I read where he was from. Not defending costs, just pointing out that this kind of financial soaking of international students is built into the fabric of universities’ budgets.
My family gives 2 small scholarships every year to kids pursuing the arts in my grandfather’s name (he was a HS arts teacher). I already

International students at most US schools pay a premium. They’re not eligible for Federal financial aid so they bear the full cost of attendance. Having a percentage of international students is part of many Higher Ed institutions’ fiscal strategy; their tuition subsidizes grants and financial aid packages to US-based

Separate but related question: where do you store your gear? I’m tired of having mine strewn about and my backdrop has taken up permanent residence in a corner of my living room.

Wait, this isn’t satire? No word of a lie, I’ve seen them floating around the interwebs for a minute and never bothered to give a listen because I thought for sure it was some ‘bama style comedy duo.

She’s pretty proud that she was able to afford new teeth herself. Per Bodak Yellow “got a bag and fixed my teeth, hope you hoes know it ain’t cheap”

FMLA is applicable but he’d actually have a stronger and faster claim under NYC Paid Family Leave Act. It just went into effect on Jan 1 and city Human Rights Commission is chomping at the bit to flex it’s muscles. Being blocked from the benefits of employement on two front (job protection and continuity of pay) would

Thank you for sharing this. Everyone’s experience with anxiety and panic attacks is different but similar to yours, mine hit when I think i’m doing fine.
After not having one for over a year I found myself hyperventilating and sobbing in the middle of a New York City sidewalk two weeks ago. When kindly strangers

True, but success does not equate to talent or innovation.

This makes me sad. You deserve better Tiffany! You got checks coming, don’t say yes to everything that comes across your desk.
