In fairness to Bernie Sanders, I think he’s not only firmly on record as disliking the Confederate flag but I think he also once kicked Jefferson Davis in the shins.

We all agree the flag should be removed, but it’s funny to see how the politicians are scrambling to act like they’ve always been petitioning for this cause.

I saw this on Gawker yesterday. Even reading it again it still sounds like horrible satire. YES, you are supposed to sit on 4 acres of dirt when your state will have NO WATER in less than a year!

what are you talking about they're clearly white and gold

White people acoustic covers of trendy rap songs is worse than ISIS.

I feel your mom. Yet, as a black woman, I recognize the yearning and freedom to take ownership of traditional (white) feminine traits for myself. Like, yasss, open the door for ME. My white girlfriends? “I can do it myself.” Me? I’mma stand here and let him FOR ONCE. Let ME be a stay-at-home-mom, not a “welfare queen”

Me neither, dude! Here’s a true story: Once upon a time there was this guy I had a casual thing with. One day my friend was like, “I ran into that guy you have a casual thing with at the store, and he was buying flowers! Maybe they’re for you! That is so sweet!” I was like, “Nope. That means he met someone else.” And

Yes! I freaking love Southern Utah. You should add Zion and Bryce if time allows. So gorgeous! If you can fit it in Zion’s The Narrows is a different hike than I have been on. I would skip the Emerald Pools. Maybe I want at the wrong time, but they just were boring pools and not worth the effort of the hike. Bryce is

Jerome, Arizona is a really cool, bizarre little old mining town on the side of a mountain. Ghost town at the very top, which is a bit of a tourist trap but also full of cool artifacts to see. If you’re into this sort of thing, there’s also a hotel there that’s like, on some registry of haunted places, and and a

Quadruple thumbs up to a National Parks pass. Oh and don’t miss Denver’s Botanic Garden.

TENT ROCKS.

Mesa Verde is super cool, so I definitely recommend it. Denver has a really good restaurant scene right now. What kind of food are you into? If you’re going to be in town for brunch, go to Beatrice & Woodsley. It’s magical. Roosevelt is great for drinks. City ‘O City is excellent any time of day (and vegetaria!). Have

Also, if possible, check out Glenwood Springs for their hot springs pool. It’s north of Aspen. And near Aspen is a lovely hike that gives you a view of the Maroon Bells, the most photographed mountain in CO!

Mesa Verde is incredible!! I’m hoping to go back in a few weeks (wear hiking boots!)

I just left my therapy appt, where I’m working on my severe body hate due to being obese and how these feelings intersect with feminism and my desire to simultaneously be deemed attractive/left the hell alone. I then walked down the hill and inhaled a basket of fries. Fuck society/fuck my body. :/

Southern Colorado San Juan mountains are beautiful and if you do that stop by Bishop’s castle-dude is legit crazy but the place is cool and the surrounding area is awesome. A lot of mountain towns have tons of wildflowers-like fields of them right now. I wish my husband was up he would know a lot more about the hiking.

I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of several individuals who spend a great deal of time doing all of that SNS ungreying ;)

So at first when I read this article, I was thinking, “Wow, you’d better not try this if you’re not white and get ‘randomly selected’ for searches on every flight. Plus, this is so needlessly risky, just get drugs there or enjoy your vacation without the damn drugs.” (I say this as someone who has brought drugs on

I came in here to say just this very thing! (I was, ironically, at the gym when this went up.)
