Regarding Sting, if by “at some point soon” you mean “like ten years ago” then yes, you’re absolutely correct.

At some point soon, Sting will be too old and irrelevant to be the designated pop culture crossover musician who shows up at awards shows and any gathering of celebrities. They’re grooming Ed Sheeran to take his place.

Watching pod racing live is dumb: Bake in the Tatooine sun, then the racers jet off and everyone just sort of sits there in silence for 15 minutes looking at their iPads.

What is it with so many people wanting to put Ed Sheeran in shit.

I’m somewhat hearing-impaired, which makes listening to foreign languages that much harder - but a trick that I use communicating in English turned out to be helpful with other languages.

This is 100% my problem. I also struggle with speaking foreign languages because I have a hard time keeping track of whole sentences. Instead of speaking fluidly like I do with English, I fall into the trap of thinking of what I want to say in English, then trying to translate it out loud, which simply doesn’t work

I have been learning spanish and lakota, but i can only read it but not really speak it when it’s spoken to me

Yup, even after many many years of trying to learn French, the one thing that is consistently hard for me is listening. The only thing that I’ve found to help is immersion. Simply listening for hours on end.

I sincerely hope not. Brad Pitt? Fine, give him an award. The rest of the movie? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..............

“You” who?

Man hating? Where?

Man hating? Where?

You know those brawls people get into over Black Friday deals that result in the police arresting people?

Better sequel than original:

Alien and Aliens?

Actually it sucks with vertical video, it works best in landscape.

That’s the best place to park a car, according to meth.

Mom?

I find that ‘fuck you!’ gets my point across much more precisely than simply, ‘fu’.

Yes, he did. Which would also be criminal.

I’d heard about it, but hadn’t tried it yet. Didn’t realize I could send files to non-Firefox users. Sounds easy!
