My father had a blue Tempo GL 5MT. Wasn’t the worst car and at one point pegged the speedometer (beats me how it got that fast but that’s another story). I have fond memories of that car. Unfortunately the engine gave out and that was the end of the car. 

I don’t know why but the first thing that came into my head when looking at that Daihatsu was Ford Tempo, which you previously wrote about. I know they look nothing alike but it just has that feel to it
