When i bought my WRX, my salesman’s prime selling point is that this car would get me ladies. I wanted it for its performance and price point. I also test drove the BRZ and again, it was a lady killer mobile and he couldn’t tell me anything about it besides it was definitely faster than the WRX.

It’s technically/legally a one-way toll road during the tourist drives, so no safety equipment required, other than a road-legal car. One could even say that it’s better to not wear a helmet, since you’re not supposed to drive like it’s a race, and the lack of a helmet is a great reminder to take it easy.

Same here. How often am I really looking at the seatbelt-release button anyway? What sort of field of vision does someone need to have for it to be a glaring annoyance? Safety > aesthetics.
