Mike's not just 'tying up loose ends' isn't he directly acting on his conversation with the woman in the prior episode, i.e. the pain of not knowing what happened to a loved one? I can't recall if this man is actually her husband or not (probably a stretch) but the guilt is there.

The fact that AV gives this monumental moment an A- yet gives the by-the-numbers Fargo an A, based, seemingly, solely on the one reviewers idea about what should be appropriate gender representation regarding the transgender community, is a crying shame. Just so you know, I am one of those pacifist lefty liberals. I

Everything seems to be a low hanging fruit these days. It's a confusing time for comedians.

Nostalgia is nuanced these days. Nuancstalgia

I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS GONNA BE ABOUT A MAGIC ISLAND OMG!! *sorry*

Better Call Saul is pretty much the one thing I don't watch cynically. It's my heroin. I know it won't be on forever but for the time being I'm happy to put my complete faith in Gould and Gilligan. I can only wish for the universe to continue, or at least G&G's brains to continue for as long as I have access to on

If there is an answer it's usually 'magic island light' and "that I can't abide".

I can't deny that Lost gave me some of my all time favourite TV moments (Michael with Anna Lucia and Libby / blast door map/ Hatch discovery / black smoke madness). I had an OCD Lost procedure - positioning my speakers at exactly the right distance, setting mood lighting etc.

God I can't wait for the end of peak open world. I replayed HL2 recently. When it first came out I thought it was somewhat overrated and over scripted. Now it feels like a step in the right direction! Selling something on 'You can play in your own way' isn't anything new. I'd argue the original Thief games had more of

From a user on Metacritic:
'screw all of you useless developers with your rose tinted hair, preppy clothes and stupid political and liberal views for ruining one of the biggest franchises of all time and letting a pack of incompetent idiots do the development. Feminism and SJW are a big mistake in the gaming industry'

I regret that comment. I'm not always boring

I agree somewhat, there's an immersion breaking aspect in controls and interface, game depending, and I understand the pull of playing a high quality mobile game like zelda with proper controls, but I feel this is more of an amalgamation or next step of existing ideas, rather than something really revolutionary. I'd

And also I'm on an iPad not a Toy so there's less of the 'I'm nearly 30 what am I doing' guilt.

I believe I had the same experience that this reviewer had a couple of years ago - playing KOTOR on my ipad while lying in bed. I don't think the switch is anything new in those regards. It looks a whole lot better than the wii U mind…

But video games have come a long way right? Also more megapixels and crippled economies.

I agree completely with everything that you said… there's a part of me when watching the show that's screaming 'come on, you know that's not right', but then I'm having so much fun with the rest of it that I guess I semi-consciously stifle those thoughts. If i open up to them…:

I will say that the Onion Knight's acting was fantastic and completely drew me in. Wish he had more scenes.

The female characters are indeed problematic and one of the faults I have with the show, they range from the shallow eye candy, to the cliched 'problematic wife' and 'girl with daddy issues who just needs a love making', though they do have their positives. In terms of pandering to the audience, I went in for 'pirate

Grown a little weary of GOT - a little too aware of its audience perhaps, and episodes rarely feel anything close to self contained. Scenes play out in a very composed and portentous sort of way, emphasised by all the recognisable theatrical actors around. I'm just waiting for the next twist or set piece instead of

Totally agree that the stage play was predictable and uninvolving, though I did enjoy seeing my favourite bit-part actor Kevin Eldon getting a fun role as Idiot Ned. I didn't even cotton on to the fact that Richard E Grant until the following scene, he's another great.
