I'll admit it. This was a total success and that was a disaster.

I love my droid. It is super sleek and personalized and does a lot. I love the big screen too. More battery life would be nice, can't get through a whole day if I make a lot of calls and use GPS. The Wi-fi is great. Reading books is great, watching movies is great, listening to the radio is great.

To dispose of old electronics I suggest you sell or give them away on Cragslist.

You can replace the gasket and clean the Espresso maker with oven cleaner. I've had to do that. It works.

I've been using VirtualBox on Linux for a while and it totally works. I run Windows tiny7 on it and can access my webcam and camera for tethered shooting plus I can watch my streaming Netflix on it.

Also having a smooth surface is a plus. Once in a while I will sand the bottom of my pans to make things really sweet and then heat them with some vegetable oil on the bottom. It's not high tech but it is quick and easy and works well.

I too am surprised that Blogger wasn't mentioned. I like working with it and they have really sharpened up the appearance choices. You can upload directly by email or text. They're great.

I'm a professional photographer and love, use and rely on digKam. A truly great program that gets better every month. I'm an acolyte.

Great article. I love your point of view. I agree that tablets are very glamorous and relatively expensive andt don't do very much. I've had a few girlfriends like that - waste of time.
