I've used ACDSee for bulk image processing for 10 years. Long before Lightroom or Aperture. This looks great for what most people need. Picasa is amazing too.
The main program I use for managing, color correcting, resizing, copying, Raw conversion, burning and uploading is ACDSee. This program has been around for about 10 years. Long before Picasa, Lightroom and Aperture. I've relied on it for so long I would not want to live without it.

I'm a professional photographer and I use Smugmug for my serious archiving and file sharing. It's fantastic and inexpensive. For good free fun I love Picasa, the software and the website. Totally great. I totally don't get Flickr at all. It just does not do what I want it to.
I love the Zune player. It is the prettiest player graphically of any. My main player is winamp. Itunes is no fun at all.
I've been using ACDSee for about 5 years to handle 90% of my photo manipulation and organizing tasks. It handles metadata in bulk and is very fast. Long before Aperture and Lightroom there has been ACDSee. I use photoshop or the GIMP just for retouching.
VOTE: Winamp.
I'm a professional photographer who works a lot. I stopped playing with RAW a long time ago unless it really makes a difference to the client. I set my camera to render jpegs with a little less contrast, saturation and sharpness so I don't lose any detail. I work with those files and boost contrast and sharpness…
I'm a professional photographer and I've been using ACDSee for years. It manages large batches of files at lightening speed and organizes with the file structure of you hard drive. It has been available long before Aperture or Lightroom were even dreamed of and they are just trying to catch up. Fantastic software.
