You English speakers can’t imagine how funny some Star Wars names sound in Portuguese. Some even had to be changed in our (brazilian) subtitles and dubbings. Exemples:

I’d always thought Han Solo’s early life adventures were more series material than a movie. He already has plenty of interesting caracters (Chewie, Jabba, Lando, Greedo, Boba...) to explore.
And, let’s be honest, all that Firefly, Dark Matter, Killjoys and other did/do is to emulate Han Solo.

I still think this movie isn’t a good ideia... He is that kind of character that don’t need any explanation or origin story. He was a smuggler period.
