I always felt that dual-zone climate control in a car was a gimmicky joke, but in a tiny, two-seater sports car with a cabin the size of half a peanut shell... now I know the engineers are just making fun of us.

As a GT86 owner I am not someone who mod cars or race them. I just love to drive, and this car allows me to really enjoy driving without the fear of “over-driving” it because it’s not an exotic. That said, no one really buys it for creature comforts. The version we get here has dual climatic control and heated seats

Gotta agree.

Love it! And good morning!

We just bought a mint condition ‘90 Corvette convertible with a 6-speed and despite not being the LT1, it’s pretty rad. After a lifetime of tiny sports cars with low torque engines (RX7, Prelude, 240z) it’s a revelation to drive a tank-sized “sports” car. Getting one with working a/c, cruise and a sharp interior for 5

I don’t get people’s hangups with the whole F&I thing anyway. You just say NO. How is this difficult? I actually tell them upfront I am highly unlikely to buy any add-ons. Admittedly, I don’t go to bottom-feeder dealerships, so maybe the KIA store is a lot different than BMW or VW. Yes, there is some sarcasm there - I

yeah i dont like to play the blame game but she sounds like shes at fault there too for some of it. you should have left the moment they said you couldnt test drive the car

There’s nothing magical or better about paper. Everything in this article relates to age-old fraud practices that really aren’t made any easier or harder because the contracts are electronic.

but then again I don’t sign without reading first.

I’ve used docusign extensively without issue for electronic contracts to buy cars and even homes, but then again I don’t sign without reading first. Also docusign is a well established third party that provides the ability for me to download and print all the documents.

Former F&I guy here: protect yourself from this nonsense by having your own financing in-hand before casting a shadow on a dealer lot. If you are unable to get your own financing due to credit issues, the universe is screaming at you to not buy a car.

Overall great read. This really shows the potential pitfalls associated with e-contracts when a malicious dealer/salesperson is involved.

“Tesla is the only one with a real network of charging stations. They are getting themselves grounded (no pun intended) and making barriers”

Don’t confuse lack of trying with inability. Market is not at the level where big players are willing to get involved. When demand converges with decline in battery/chargers’ cost

Perhaps they transition to become the Esso of charging stations.

On the other hand: Right now they’re priced higher than GM, despite selling a minuscule fraction of the cars, despite GM beating them to the punch with the Bolt, despite GM selling higher quality vehicles (I know, that previous clause felt weird to write too, but look at the quality reports... Teslas simply have more

Neither.

Not sure what answer you are fishing for here, but definitely the Audi.

That’s...yeah. I guess I’ve never paid enough attention, that Tesla interior is horrifying.

Yep.
