Im with you.
Im with you.
15 ships vs 760 million cars.
Okay...I’m not sure I get your point. That there’s a CO2 balance? Yes, you are right about that. But you were saying that water vapor must be going above natural levels as well and that it didn’t make sense why CO2 emissions are being scrutinized but not H2O. I was just pointing out that H2O concentrations can’t…
1st and Neutral:
F that guy. I want us to work on reducing CO2 emissions as well, for the same reasons, but preventing registration of CO2-emitting vehicles means no one can keep their sports cars or classic cars that are an almost inconceivably small portion of vehicle emissions. As with most things government, the…
The primary error is that it’s not a toll lane. It’s the entire highway. All lanes. As in, you can’t take that stretch of I-66 during rush hour unless you are HOV or pay the toll.
From my experience living in China, let me tell you, this is exactly how communist country operate.
It’s not like the taxes go down after the road has been built and they can change a fee for single drivers in a HoV lane. They’re still getting tax revenue and the roads aren’t getting any better now that they’re collecting more money.
Because “Fuck people with cars” writes the car blogger.
they are maintained with tax money
Lots of errors and misleading statements in this article. I feel like I should do a reddit AMA to clarify.

Backlick for a dollar? That’s a good deal.
Bull. I computed on that road for years straight. From exit 64 to exit 72. I got on exactly at 9am to sail right to work. Now its moved to 9.30. Glad I moved out of that city. Public roads should be free.
but this is the kind of thing that we need more of—tolls that reward good behavior like carpooling, and discourage driving alone to work.
No they don’t think it’s ok to charge nearly $40 to use it, this morning they actually charged $40 even so there’s that.
Exactly, how can this be a good thing?!?
It hit $40 today. So ...
Sorry, how is this a good thing? Interstate 66 is a public road funded by tax dollars and someone thinks it’s okay to charge nearly $40 to use it? That’s insanity. Especially since EZ pass is getting a cut
So, in that scenario how does increased labor cost improve the company’s chances of long term survival?
Because when you work a manufacturing job in America for an employer that can’t manage to turn a profit where doing your job has resulted in a 90% defect rate, increased labor cost is what you really need.
