Troll harder.
Troll harder.
1) That is a very subjective question, which is not only influenced by personal bias, but region as well. If you live in Michigan you will almost exclusively see American cars, in LA probably the opposite.
2) American brands were playing catch-up in reliability for a long time, and now that they have (for the most…
So if you wouldn’t want to spend 5 minutes in it why’d you buy it?
Get your rational points the F out of here.
So you act like an ass and when somebody responds in kind you call them condescending? Grow a shell. Gt350, Camaro zl1 1le, viper acr, ats v, cts v, every Vette and hell, the demon and hellcat even though they’re not my flavor. Plenty of good cards made here. Take your insecure divisive ass elsewhere.
I never said you did, you are making it sound like they are much more hard to find than they are.
Have you owned an American car made since the early 90s? Or a Japanese car made in the past decade?
This is wrong, there are American cars in Japan and Europe. There are a surprising number of 90's Chevy trucks in Norway, and you will even see current generation Rams there. Romania has Jeep dealerships. Now are they as common as those countries’ domestics? No, but the idea that only Americans buy American cars is…
What are we discussing here? No kidding GM and Ford builds different cars for different markets. The same way you could never sell a kei car in America, you can’t sell American *versions* of vehicles in Japan. GM and Ford are global companies capable of building and selling vehicles in a variety of foreign markets.…
I don’t even understand what you’re arguing at this point. You’re saying that you don’t like American cars and they shouldn’t be sold outside the US? And you acknowledge that GM and Ford sell a lot of vehicles (some good) outside the US and that those vehicles are not American?
Well, when you’re obsessed with being wrong, even when presented evidence that you are in fact incorrect, I’m not sure what tone you’d prefer. If you don’t like American car companies, own it. Don’t get in a tizzy when you’re called out on it.
So the largest car markets in the world shouldn’t be the majority of sales? 15% of sales from “other markets” is not insignificant.
Ya. Dealing with Japan is like being turned down by someone you ultimately didn’t want to date that badly. It’s more about the pride than anything. Pride stings. Americans and Japanese are both very proud people.
I won’t bother explaining platform engineering to you.
Let me help you out here: “Why Japanese don’t buy American cars.” List below in no particular order. Your mileage and experiences may vary.
Sometimes I feel like this website is just the TLDR of reddit/r/cars from the previous day. There was just a big post about the Japanese car sales there yesterday.
“....American cars really have no place outside of the USA.”
Neutral: I think the real question is how much extra would you be willing to pay for that level of service?
Buying a car in Japan is a massive hassle... Not because of dealerships but because of regulations. I had to wait a week for a cop to come measure the size of my parking spot before taking possession of my car... That and tons of other paperworks. If dealerships were assholes on top of that, the entire automobile…
