In defense of alien: They say the planet has .86 gravity. No where do they assume planetwide shared weather, although for planets that dont have liquid water on the surface, that's a good bet anyhow (look at jupiter, mars, venus, mercury, etc).

@truthtellah: Yeah and with the US filing charges any time now, if they ack fast enough... Assange is going to feel REAL stupid for turning him self in in the UK instead of a more anti-us mainland european country.

@38thsignal: " How practical is the city when you've got kids?"

I think it's much healthier to be skeptical of everything the government tells you. Although in a case like this when you've been given all the information, and it's clear the original information was no coverup it's healthy to admit there was no coverup.

@MifuneT: Well, it's kinda hard to be cool when your source of culture is mcdonalds and the big weekly event is driving to the shopping mall. Then again you have plenty of time to ponder and to convince yourself that suburbs are better during that hour a day you're commuting back and forth to work.

@BIGE1312: I find your lack of faith disturbing.

@Mark 2000: At the time, the nazis were painting a picture of jews as disgusting universal criminals so the analogy isnt all that far off.

@Sunsparc: I'd be willing to write a program to do that for windoze, but what would be a suitable keychainable bluetooth device?

@Charliehorse: that plus reset the mouse orientation upside down and left-right and reassign left click... talk about frustrating.

@rjw1880: The wind isn't propelling the car, it's turning the propeller, that's the key. Imagine if the propeller was turning a generator, and the generator was powering an electric motor, then you can quickly see that the speed of the car could be quicker than the wind... it's basically the same thing, although

@Cirris Dumas: Yeah I drove corvettes from my 20s, once I hit late 30s people started asking me if I was having a midlife crisis... I had to reply "only if I've been having it for the last 15 years"... After accusing you of midlife crisis next is the accusation that it's compensation for a small penis, which if my

@iRant: Yeah I've seen that the airlines REALLY look down apon the mile high club... unlike in the 70's when the stewardess would supposedly wink at you, now they are ever on the look out and count on being arrested apon deplaning if your'e caught doing anything more than r-rated.

@Sluiced: Yes there is: When I have the absolute knowledge that I will sit in coach unless I buy first, I'll buy first more often. For domestic on northwest I know I'll probably get upgraded so I almost never buy first class tickets. Northwest knows this so they let the first class seats set empty on transatlantic

@Sluiced: the free upgrades to first class are for domestic flights only on almost every airline. Once you go international it's EXTREMELY hard to get an upgrade... I was platinum on Northwest/skyteam for years and never got a free transatlantic upgrade... (It's not allowed). However it's real nice getting upgraded to

15k round trip isn't bad at all considering that Many airlines charge well over 10k for a regular first class seat singapore to london rt. I'm guessing that the 380 is weight limited rather than space limited... in which case suites like these would make much sense... especially if they are packing the coach section
