They entered their Capitol building and engaged in acts of patriotism, hijinks, and kerfuffles with the security guards.

If it wasn’t an insurrection, then what was it? They were there to overthrow the government. They’re on video saying that.

They thought it was unfair that the bill praised the Capitol police without also praising the insurrectionists. Next on their agenda is ensuring that everyone who participated in the insurrection gets a statue, a medal, and a participation trophy.

Oh, not that stupid fuck again.  I hate his face.  I hate his personality.  I hate his politics.  If he ever had an original thought in his head, I’d hate that too.

Articles like this remind me what a blessed state we are in to not be assaulted by his face, voice, and tweets, daily. I’m enjoying the reprieve, mightily.

I’ll eat my hat, raw and with no seasoning, if Joe Manchin either (1) agrees to any sort of actual meaningful filibuster reform (including what he already kinda sort of endorsed on Fox News) or (2) supports D.C. or Puerto Rico statehood.  And I would be thrilled to do so.

Just because you hate the game doesn’t mean that hasn’t been a request by the playing fanbase since day 1.

I actually have been wondering if part of the reason that conservative media is SO fixated on blowing up these trivial things is because between vaccinations and the relief bill, things for Americans will start to improve across the board, and they have to find SOMETHING to keep their base angry.

I want to preface by saying I genuinely enjoy(ed) Avengers. I think the core gameplay, while a bit undercooked, is solid enough to carry the experience and each Avenger has a nice, distinct playstyle. The character models were off-putting at first, but I got used to it after an hour or so and it’s never bothered me…

I’m not about to replay it but it was a pretty good campaign. It was everything that wasn’t the campaign that were more the problem.
