If we were talking about encounters with a gun vs. encounters with a pool, you’d have a point about exposure (albeit a nastily expressed one) and agree; it’s far riskier to be around a gun than pool.
I’m ignoring suicides and homicides because the entire conversation is about the risk of letting your kid play at the home of a gun-owner.
