Sucks she wouldn’t do an interview. This probably didn’t help!

You realize this was translated from Japanese, right?
Bombs (nuclear ones) and militaristic invasions...
As an American, I whole-heartedly agree with Miyazaki’s essay. Especially the part about Nuclear bombs, Agent Orange in Vietnam, anti-NATO, etc.
To be fair, hating the America that, especially at that time, was unapologetic at dropping nukes on Japan is a pretty valid argument...and a probably fueled a lot of his animosity.
If America nuked my country twice, I’d probably dislike it too.
Fair points, to be honest.
Fantasy Life 2 on mobile. I want to cry but I can’t feel feelings anymore.
What if we treated white men like this just for, like, an hour a year? So they know what it’s like.
What a fucking dork you are, man...Social Justice Avengers. Adjust your hat, neckbeard, and venture forth from thy parent's basement. Breath that fresh air. Take a hit from your asthma inhaler. Now relax because it's just a comic book.
Gigantic truth bomb here, and one of the better work-related pieces I've ever seen on Lifehacker.
Yeah, as much as I like this character design, the fact that she's a butch Russian strongwoman is forehead-slappingly obtuse.
So true. They're not running the F as frequently as they say, either (every 7 minutes in rush? No, it's 10). Not only that but many of the nice new trains are gone, and we're getting the old orange and yellow seats back. What's up with that?
I'm a rider of the 6 Train and I can tell them why because they cut back on service. The MTA swears they haven't cut back but all regular riders know they have. It makes a huge difference on the 6 when the trains run every 5-10min instead of every 2-3min.
As a former 1/9 rider, I feel your pain and share your agony. I'm currently an m/r rider in Queens and a week doesn't pass where I have to wait out three completely packed trains to actually get on a train that has made me late not only by being overcrowded, but being delayed by no less than 20 minutes in the first…
I've noticed this decline over the past 5 years. I saw it in the Port Authority and in bus service in general. I think there are 3 things going on here:
Countdown clocks that tell everyone that there's a train or two directly behind the one people have been waiting for for 15 minutes would help immensely with overcrowding if I'm not busy panicking that another train won't come for 15 minutes.
