For those that don't quite understand what the terminal stuff does, it's worth pointing out that you can delete the text file after running the cat command.

A *really* quick way to copy and paste (especially if you have a regular mouse) and you are using Linux is to highlight the text you want to copy, and then middle click where you want to paste it. (No hotkeys or anything required.)

Make sure that if you have dual/triple channel RAM, to put those in the same colored slots (same channel).

This is filemanager-independent. It would work just as well in Dolphin or Thunar, provided you knew the directory.
