I watched this segment when it aired, rewound it on the DVR to watch it again, and then re-watched it twice more today. Keegan-Michael Key is a freakin' national treasure. Long may his comedic genius reign.

Oh no. I was vying for this show. The premise was unique and fun. I even made sure to watch it on DVR /with/ commercials. Breaks my heart!

So very happy that The AV Club is covering this show. It has been dynamic from the start, and this premiere did not disappoint. Everyone is scattered across the East, but the writers and editors are keeping the show cohesive and urgently moving forward.

I think he is a truly gifted actor with such a wonderful, quiet quality about him. Glad he is getting some recognition due to Mindy.
And you gotta love that smile of his. Warms you like hot tea.

I believe him regarding Ari's character being a drain on him. He was the best damn thing on that show (unpredictable at many points), and Ari would be hella fun to play. However, I am sure Jeremy went home hoarse more than once or twice from playing him.
