Oh no, it’s simpler than that. It’s extra profits for Apple/Samsung, who charges $10+ for what is ostensibly a $.75 part.

If you really need Gigabit speeds, you’re already wired up to your switch via CAT6. Most modern laptops can easily pull 200+ Mbps up and down, fully saturating your connection. So, unless you have fiber, it’s moot.
12345? Why that’s my luggage combination!
IF only. If only.
ProTools never upgraded properly to “support” new OSXs on Day 1. I don’t know if AVID/ProTools will ever support such things on day 1. Equally for other hardware that requires drivers (Yamaha/Steinberg Audio Interfaces, Zoom Audio Interfaces, etc).
Depends on the usage, but CC eats a metric f-ton of memory to begin with, especially with After Effects and Premiere (and 4k Assets). I’ve recently got me a HP Gaming laptop (OMEN 17) and upgraded to RAM to max, and finally then, Premiere Pro feels smooth as it did several years ago.
Besides, if you’re doing anything ultra critical and/or heavy duty content creation, you’re not going to go out and buy this. Most people that uses Macs for a living stay at least one version behind because programs that run on the OS takes a while to catch up (ProTools, Premiere, DaVinci, etc.). Add to that some…
How about no way, and when hell freezes over?
Ah ha! Lucky me I am prescribed full strength aspirin for life now, thanks to my stupid rare brain disorder.
Did anything blow up to smithereens yet?
So... it’s Tuesday again huh?

For you, it was the most glitchest day of your life.
For you, it was the most important day of your life.
Occam’s razor is getting a lot of workout these days.
For Amazon, it was Tuesday.
Better than Tesla’s new return policy.
Bad news travels faster than light. Douglas Adams was way ahead of his time.
I think if Costco didn’t have a pretty decent deal on an Omen 17 (2x m.2 2280 slots with an RTX2070 for $1500? Snap!), I would’ve probably been happy with this, even with a GTX.
Needs a bit o counterweight on the stand.
