Let it boot to Windows 7. Then unpack the bootcamp drivers but do not run the Bootcamp assistant. Then install drivers manually save for the USB 3.0 drivers. I think the USB 3.0 is the culprit at least with MacBook Pro 13" and may have been rectified with Windows 8.

Muchos Gracias. Just seeing if you can bring that up as a possibility. as I trust the approved commenters to filter out conversations that hinders rather than helps.

Perhaps, I can use this thread to ask for a feature on the comments: that if enough approved posters "downvote" a comment, it disappears into the void, never to be seen again?

I do agree, and I'm coming around to changing my point on suicides as of this little note. Initially, I've come to a conclusion a long time ago that suicide was one of the most selfish acts a person can do. However, after some discussion and reading some articles about the how the person can come to the logical

If you're willing to take time to rinse really well, a touch of OxyClean (or other oxygenated cleaning powder), vinegar (optional) hot water, a good shake, and about couple of hours to overnight does the job really, really, really well. I mean, so well that it gets the set on coffee gunk oil stain out.

What if your day job (though it doesn't pay well, yet) is your passion?

Good Gawd, I wish Gawker would bring back the fucking stars and grays.

Thank you. If you're not white and open carry, chances are, things will end up badly for you the minute you step out into the streets. Black, Latino, Asian, Native American, Green, Purple, Infrared, I don't care. If you're not white and open carry, you will end up dead.

Oh hay, let's name our service after one of the more restrictive compressed music formats ever made, the ATRAC!

http://www.lupiciausa.com/ - ZOMG they have one of the biggest and bestest selection of loose leaf teas anywhere I've seen. Plus, they sell some of the best tea tins as well, which are utterly important if you want to keep your teas fresh and air tight.

Personally, I dig the V900HD/7509HDs more than the 7506s. Something about them that Sony's never been able to duplicate? Very smooth throughout and very balanced in all aspects.

About $80 street. Maybe cheaper or more expensive depending on demand pricing and what not. $85 from Amazon, give or take a $1.

For anyone kvetching about the price, all of these are very durable if properly taken care of. I can vouch for at least "three" of these (MDR7506, Grado SR60, Sennheiser HD555s) for at least 3+ years. And unless you're literally running through a literal battlefield, they will last. And to be honest, the MDR7506s

Grado SR80 with whatever suffix that comes with is fairly similar to one another. I still rock a set of the original SR60s with a Large Earpads and slightly modified cable, and they are still rocking hard nearly 10 years after the fact.

All of these are good picks for something that you'd easily use several hours a day, every day. So, even for one year, it comes out to about $0.33/day. And that's just for one year. I can tell you from experience that the MDR-7506/V6s lasts forever and a half, or at least, easily a decade or more. Compare that to

I wonder why? ;)

I paid good $80 when I got my first set of V6s. I've moved on to MDR-7509/900HDs and MDR-ZX700 for my mixing needs but I have access to the 7506/V6s in my work studio as I see fit. Recabled and repaired but still works like a champ, champ!
