McCain had my vote up until Palin opened her mouth. I’m a Centrist and I thought McCain was also (I still think in his heart he is). I viewed McCain as someone that could potentially heal the Right/Left issues going on in the country. However, as with all older people who run for President, I was scared he might

Stop, just stop. That doesn’t fit the narrative... You are a racist.

Meh, depends where you are. Lived most of my life in the U.S. and have never had a problem with the police, gun crime, or anything like that. The police by me are decent people (some assholes, but every job has a few). The U.S. by and large is a very safe place to visit.. as I always say, I’ve been to many major

Hah, fair enough.. When I was going through my shady times, I did spend a lot of time in AC.. so, I can see it. :)

yep, exactly.. Thats also pretty shaddy to bring employees to AC for a Holiday party. :) Seems to be asking for trouble..

And here is one more scary piece of info.. It’s gotten worse in the last 10 years, which I didnt even know was possible. I really can think of no reason I will ever go back there.

The idea was that casinos were going to ‘fix’ AC.. That worked out real well.

Who the hell in there right mind is buying a hotel bed? Especially a hotel bed from the Taj. I feel skeeved out just sitting on those beds, and only tolerate because I drink a ton before sleeping there. I cant imagine putting a bed in my house that thousands of people have slept on.. and done other things on.

AC was always on the brink of collapse. It was such a *horrendous* experiance going there (I’ve been going for the past 25 years). The only reason my friends and I went was to gamble. It felt like going to Detroit, but with old people shoveling quarters into machines. If you havent lived in this area, you cant

Thank you.

Oh, not denying a modern HSR rail from Midtown to Center city could do it quickly. I’m arguing that there is ZERO point to it.

In this case I Agree with you, however, I’d argue he had no training, education, or anything else on how to build a rocket, and that seemed to work out pretty well.

You are on FoxTrot Alpha which is a Military Sub-Blog. It’s been around for atleast 3 years, probably longer.

By what metric? I’m certainly not a F-35 fanboy, but the F-35 is still essentially in development, the F-22 stopped development 20 years ago. It may fly higher, and faster, but isnt anywhere near as capable as the F-35 when it comes to Data Management and RCS.

Not enough to last until 2060.

Productivity loss is much larger, if you think that is a valid metric. All corporate InfoSec departments nationwide are singularly focused on Petya right now (and for the past 2 days).

Not sure I would agree with that. I will preface by saying i’m not close to French Naval Aviation. :) The Air group on the CdG is around 40 planes, QE can go up to 50, but lets be honest.. it will never hit that.

I wouldn’t argue that the ground to air systems on RN ships is better then the U.S. I think maybe in some aspects it is not (BMD). It comes down to the U.S. has always relied on the concept of a CSG with long range CAP. You dont need as good of a A2A missile if you are shooting something down 500 miles away with a

When I was in Middle School and HS I would argue this on a fairly regular basis, they thought it was real. Okay, I’ll give you that this was more then 20 years ago (christ im old). However, at the time, it was pretty established it was fake as well, some people just dont want to believe.

Thanks for the perspective and well informed response.
