Wow, what a passive-aggressive comment. I’m a cook and speculate occasionally and then find out that I was wrong. No big deal. It’s called “having an imagination.”
Errr....it took me 4 minutes prep time and 25 baking time prep time to make 2 pounds of lasagna. Making stuffing for 10 people takes me 25 minutes, since there are a lot of seasoning and you have to hand-mold all 20 stuffing balls. Those are large meals for an entire family.
Storing the food? You don’t have a fridge?
I cannot seem to get my around-minimum-wage-job twentysomething-sons to agree with me on this. Work 8 hours and go out for lunch — there goes 2 hours of take-home pay.
