"The Amazon tablet is real... We made a mockup."

Apple's not been so good at the whole "sticking to a timeline" thing lately (see: white iPhone 4).

But is it "Braking [sic] and Entering" as the OP states? No. Is it (possibly) impersonating a police officer? Seemingly so, if Calderón is telling the truth.

But. He gave consent, albeit under false pretenses. "I thought they were SFPD. That's why I let them in."

That's a gross exaggeration. If you count some soft-stories on CNN, et al, as "owning the news cycle," then sure. They "owned" it with a total of THREE mentions on cnn.com's records. Apple doesn't need to "get their name out there."

Giz got wayyyyy more out of it than Apple did. Apple doesn't really need 10 o'clock news soft stories and different, typically negative, coverage from other tech sites.

Nothing beats Felt Mountain. One of the best albums (top 20?) of last decade.

I don't feel like a redesign of the iMac will be happening too soon, since the aluminum unibodies only were released in Q4 2009. I just think that the iMac does perfectly what it's designed for and a radical remaining doesn't work. Touch does not make working in Numbers or Garage Band easier, it just takes up more

Is it any surprise that Wright remains an influence today? He designed the Illinois in 1956, when the tallest building was the Empire State Building, and many of the technologies he thought of are being implemented today in these superstructures.

Sure, but not all advertising makes unrealistic, unachievable standards of beauty. And really, it's kind of silly for a makeup company to not actually be showcasing their product; kind of like if Chevrolet did a commercial about the Malibu's performance but underneath the bodywork it was a Corvette.

Yay, now we can be friends or something. #rageon

It is indeed, at least the 13" to 13" base versions, but portability comes at a premium (not that the MBP is obese by any measure, but thin is in).

You know that Office exists for OSX, right?

@Ima B. Me: Contacts designed to make the iris seem more exotic or the pupils larger are somewhat common in Korea, safe to assume Japan, too.

I would have preferred an essay on the art of getting undressed while drunk. No more shiners for me.

What he did with Wikileaks is admirable, what he allegedly did is awful.

@ChiefPontiaxe: Actually, men who love penis are gay males.

It might just be my eyes, but that's unreadable. Here's a higher-res copy from the link for lazy folks.
