I find myself rereading both House of Leaves and Only Revolutions by Mark Z. Danielewski once or twice a year. They’re just such amazing literary works of art that have a specific tone/theme, and he plays with the format of the books themselves for the sake of driving that specific theme home. They’re not so much

Casual snooping of the occasional photo on my girlfriend's phone, sure. She finds the funniest shit on the internet, and she doesn't mind; she does the same on my phone occasionally. But actual digging? Never. I know how it feels having my privacy invaded, thanks to my now ex fiancée who got incredibly paranoid by the

I work for a customer service company while going to school, as billing support for a large corporation. The job itself is very professional, as ar most of the people there. So, befriending some of them, in particular the women on my mostly-female team, we exchanged follows on Instagram.

I wholeheartedly agree. I lived in suburbs of San Diego and Salt Lake City, and I can honestly say I was completely emotionally and socially stunted by it, at least until I moved out on my own and was essentially forced to learn how to connect with people. There's a reason my grandma used to call the suburbs of both

Damn you and your logic!

THIS. I was debating getting an iPad 2 for the longest time, but didn't want to because of the size. iPad 2 for cheaper with 4G, a smaller screen, and Lightning? I'm sold.

Yeah, Syracuse does that.

iDrum? Normally I'm not one to call "ripoff" on names of iThings, but the company iZotope has had a piece of drum sequencer software called iDrum out for years...

Oh god, the one in the mall here had an ad like that all last summer, right across from the restaurant I work in. Next door to Baby GAP, too.

True, true. In my own experience, it's incredible, as my entire family and a large majority of my friends have iPhones, and having messaging work so seamlessly is so awesome. Does WP7 have a similar service?

It's more the fact that it's integrated into iOS so well, and soon Mac as well. No usernames, no extra email addresses to type, you just open the app on your phone and can start punching away free messages to other iDevice/Mac owners. Yeah, Skype and whatnot offer the same level of functionality as iMessage, such as

It's the fact that it's so seamless in general. Yeah, it has its wonkiness on occasion, but for seamless cross-device IM, it can't be beat, especially with how well it keeps everything in sync.

I used to be perfectly alright lending games to people. All of my friends (at least the only ones I would lend games to) are trustworthy enough that I've never had an issue not getting a game back, or getting it back damaged. Then, my fiancée (who I lived with) left me. She had been seeing another guy on the side for

Yes and no. I'm glad they didn't sully a main entry in the series with this shit, but at the same time, I wanted an MGS game that starred Raiden, with maybe a bit more of a focus on the swordplay and some appropriate gameplay tweaks, not that "Bayonetta 2: Raiden's Story" crap.

This comes from one of the biggest, most die-hard fans of Metal Gear Solid you'll ever meet: damn that was a godawful trailer.

It's a personal fitness/wellness/whatever tracker. It has sensors that measure all sorts of things going on in your body, like your sleep patterns, exercise habits, etc. Yeah, it's from the same company that makes a million and one bluetooth headsets. I was confused when I first heard about it, too.

Haha I haven't heard that one, but it's possible. (This all comes from what an Apple-employed friend tells me about their sales process and certain other inner-workings of the store)

Basically, it's the honor system. Obviously, they're on the lookout for suspicious looking people, and if they have any suspicions, they can simply ask you to show them the receipt for the purchase on your phone. No receipt, no product. As far as I know, they also have a few people monitoring what items are sold, in

There is no better way to describe Android 1.x than "ugly stepsister." And as far as the iPhone/Android OS thing, the iPhone is synonymous with iOS, so generally that's what articles like these are referring to.

The problem with that is that WP7, as a wholly new phone platform, is still in its infancy, and hasn't shown a long trend of growth. I mean, it's only really had one major update, afaik. Next year, though, we'll be seeing the "iPhone vs. Android vs. WP7: Who Aged Better" :)
