Just suggested this one myself, fantastic film, but nobody seems to have seen it.

How about “Special” the bizarre Michael Rapaport movie about a guy who takes part in a drug trial that makes him think he’s a superhero?

Laurie also rather spookily wrote this excellent comedy spy thriller, three years after Le Carre wrote The Night Manager, definitely worth checking out for any of Hugh’s fans who only know him from House.

They should’ve made Magic Kingdom For Sale, that would have been a better fit for MTV, I think, and it’s a better story too.

Plus, that bloody guitar...

“The greatest”, really?

Awww, we’ll miss you too. Thanks for everything.

Even my seven year old daughter (who is American and only just meeting “her” first Dr) says the guitar solos are “hilarious!”

Go-faster stripes on the pimped-out TARDIS coming soon...

Watching it again just makes it worse.

Science fiction with no science and badly written fiction.

And the guitar solos.

Ah, ah, ahhh, I think you forgot the most obvious one...

Dollhouse.

Oh yes, Space Above and Beyond was proper, grimy sci-fi while there were too many sterile and clean shows around, love to see more of that.

Dollhouse.

Right...

Come to think of it, you're not from Sussex are you?

No, I can follow that.

I watched the entire original UK run of Twin Peaks on a four inch black and white portable tv (except the Killer Bob Revealed episode which I happened to see in colour; THAT was an intense experience) and the weird thing was, it looked just as I expected when I went out and bought the videos immediately it ended.
