My old, 25 horsepower Subaru 360 used a lawn tractor battery and that, combined with a weak generator, meant that the battery would always die in very cold weather. So, in the winter, I would disconnect the battery and bring it inside with me if the car was going to be parked for a while. College classrooms, my job,

That family of Eskimos is gonna be wicked pissed when they come home.

I agree. Which is why I don’t drive anyone else’s car and no one drives mine. It’s much better that way.

“Full Service History”

Except for 3/4 sand 1 ton trucks were not required to undergo fuel economy certification during the time frame mentioned in the article. Given that light truck emissions requirements are far less stringent than cars, this whole thing stinks of some deep pockets working to remove diesels from the roads by force.

Well, they have to actually drive to make the list.

Really, it’s because when I get a perfectly rev-matched heel-toe downshift, I feel like a god-damned hero, and it doesn’t matter what I’m driving or how fast I’m going. I actually drove 2 Ferraris (360 and 430) on a track for about 20 minutes. I had WAY more fun thrashing a 5-speed Hyundai Accent on the same track.

Old and grumpy seems to be the way car enthusiasm is heading. I am on board. Now get off my lawn!

. . . or because you think it’s fun to operate and control a machine with your own hands and feet, in sync, and with full attention to all sensory input.

Porsche is the only company in that group still offering cars with a manual transmission. I’d still pick a base 911 or a Boxter over something with flappy-paddles, because I’m old and grumpy.

Alfas are unreliable, Alfas are unreliable, Alfas are unreliable, Alfas are unreliable, Alfas are unreliable, Alfas are unreliable. I fucking need it.

They’re cool trucks for sure, but they are no Raptor fighters

David tracy must be so excited to buy this truck 20 plus years from now

Does it comes with sparkle plugs?
