You say that, but Riot recently made almost $1 billion dollars from it.

I played 1550 hours of dota 2 since i got it.
Oh yeah, I can't believe Akatsuki no Yona is not on the list. I definitely think it would replace Vanadis at least.
Gundam is an interesting one, does it count as a sequel? Prequel? Sidequel? I think Reconguista is okay, its good that its actually starting to pick up steam now. Personally I'm enjoying GBF:T alot more, but I appreciate both side of Gundams and their directions so far. At the very least GBF T wouldn't make the list…
Because there are so many high quality anime this season, there will not be any sequel/prequel/sidequel anime series on this list. Rather, they will get their own recommendation guide at a later date (likely in a week or two).
Sequel in a way. So I can understand the absence.
I think the list is solid, personally I would put in Amagi Brilliant Park somewhere in there.
EDIT: Shirobako is in. Awesome!
EDIT2: I'm guessing its not on the list because its not simucasted.
Okay.
oh noes, should we cry because you can't find something you enjoy? anime didn't get better or worse over the last 5 decades so either admit you just don't like anime or you never actually bothered to look for what you want.
Anime.... trying to be anime...?
nobody said it was, but critical reviewers generally gets paid, through publishing deals or advertisements.
It's good to have opinons. If you were writing a cirtical review on the other hand, well I would question some degree of legitimacy on it.
If you think you know your shit go for it. I mean, like I said, production wise, I think it's all green to discuss how the first half did, did the scenes execute well? Were they animated well, or was the dialogue good? Those aspects of the series are fair call. I'm just saying questions like, was this character…
because theres no resolution. if it was a story about Inaho, then you can say the story is over. but there are still complications thats left unsolved and 2nd half coming right aroudn the corner.
you can judge it if you want, but loose ends will always appear in an unfinished story. it just cant justify those elements until its finished. would you judge a cake that you ate while it was half baked?
Ends horrible, cos of cliffhanger ending. possibly wait till the 2nd half finishes airing after next year, to be honest, thats when people really should be judging the anime story wise, but production wise its pretty top notch.
Fanservice is not prevalent, if there is its mainly to Princess Asseylum. They aren't supergratuitous, the worst really is a shower scene, but normally what happens in it is a fan disservice otherwise.
what about the scene in spirited away where her parents eat pretty much everything? its supposed to be off-putting, but damn the food looked awesome.
