I worked for the government. Literally nothing is fucked. These people are protected by their gigantic union and are paid with tax money. If anything, things will be better for them on a relative basis because Trump will tank the economy and they will have their steady job.

You can build more or give tax credits. I lived in a very nice building in Arlington VA just one stop outside DC that had low income housing on floors 2 - 4. They received $2.5M a year in credits and immigrant familes that were working very hard at blue collar jobs had a decent place to live.

Flip side of this is courtside seats in DC are going for peanuts (realtively speaking)
