Fucking iPad on wheels ... people today don’t actually want to be involved in driving ... or anything that requires them to be IRL.

Yes, and also most people were never cool to start with, so they are not losing much after kids, minivans ...

Are people cross-shopping minivans against... CX-5s and Macans though?

We have a Sienna and a CX-9 in the family. I agree that a vehicle like the CX9 is superior.

“If you’re going to drive something big that doesn’t handle as nicely as a small car, why make sacrifices in interior space and comfort?”

    Why am i not buying?

To paraphrase others — if Porsche can have a electric Taycan Turbo, Mazda can have an I6 RX-9. Heck, even put a “Rotary” badge in a bunch of places like those fake ///M’s

    Don’t pick on poor Porsche!

Clever ... but “fake it ‘til you make it” is a well-known concept.

    Bravo!

Seems like there is no *general* reason against pulling through?

“... and if you want to imagine yourself as athletic and attractive, wehave the image-car for you! The Deluxe trim is for those of you who have a stationary bike collecting dust.”

I drove one, completely agree that it’s just a slightly below average vehicle.

Why do they think Pirelli tires are worth a dedicated photo? Just because they are mentioned in a few music vids?

GASP! Who took your blindfold off? Jalops seem to get very upset if you don’t think wagons are automatically better than today’s crossovers.  Shhh 😉

I feel like Jalopnik is kind of like the SNL of car journalists...

Hum, I was going to say that this seemed to be the first time the Challenger was called out as “ancient”, whereas poor little Lotus with minimal resources gets shit on for the Evora being old ... perspective I guess

I have been saying that too. I was looking for a G37 replacement back in 2017. I drove an S6 a couple of times, many twisty roads, and came away highly disappointed.

I think car makers are putting all of their talent into these crossovers. I mean, apparently the new X3 has better steering than the 3 series.  The Panamera apparently is more of a luxury boat than sports sedan?

I stole your Tesla over the air. Boom
