I would say that the M240i is even better at the all-around bit. But i see your point.

It’s interesting though, because the M2 is supposed to be a track car. Its steering is numb and it rides too hard for daily use, IMO. I don’t see how it’s better than its own stable mate the M240i then if it’s supposed to be a DD.

BMWs used to give you that.

Sure, but then I thought the M2 was supposed to be the track weapon, and the M240i was the DD?

Sure, it’s supposed to be a Swiss-Army-Knife car.

    Fair enough.

You’re the first one who thinks the M2 is comfy. Congrats! :)

Who buys the M2? GT350 has more character, Evora has actual steering feel.

It’s for the Macan owner who wants something ... V8. Or supercharged. Maybe a tiny bit more room inside. Oh, wait, they just want a different kind of big cat.

Is the steering still as lifeless as most other German cars these days (looking at you, BMW)?

I am going to guess that reliable and funky design are more important to them, as a Mazda3 handles very well for $15k but somehow that was not good enough.

I think they don’t really know what “handles brilliantly” means, just threw that on their list of desires because it’s the “cool” thing to desire, and really just want “funky design”

    The Mazda3 is definitely fun.

I agree. Even I, who thinks Teslas are iPads on wheels, feel like this was just wholly unfair.

So, in short, totally no need to switch out the C7 you already have/plan to buy shortly.

    Only if she’s curvy! ;)

M235i seems squarely aimed at the S3

Does washing and waxing the car count as “working on the car”?

    Same price as a C8?
