Calling crossover “minivans” insulting to minivans :(

What's worse, this, or Cayenne? Yikes

For example, I have driven the S6 (2017 MY). It was great at many things, it was stable at speed, but it is not a vehicle meant for a track and the steering is just dead numb. I can imagine the A6 is just a little worse.

Cayennes are now available as a 4-door "coupe ", so your valiant efforts are just a part of the losing battle over marketing.

A6 is a luxury sedan that was never meant to be sporty. “handle”. A lower ride height is not going to make enough of a difference in “handling”. It's weird talking about the A6 and "handling ".

    LOL!

Here’s another vehicle that drives like a car (rather than an iPad on wheels) and is actually available right now:

I mean, haven’t y'all run out of steam yet?

Horsepower, Turbo Power ... throttle the topic.

People clearly treat cars like appliances. People prefer the trio of iPad-on-wheels because they have longer range and they have more charging options. Like how the iPad has great battery life and plenty of apps.

Hot take: M5 is better in every way.

Well, one can record the exhaust sounds and play them loudly through the car’s speakers ... LOL

Higher miles = more exposure to other doofus drivers. If I put 100k on, I mean to and it’s for my joy. If someone else has put even a tiny scratch on my car, I’d be furious. That's the biggest benefit of hiding your prized posession

Or "I have 5 other cars to share my love" range. ;)

Yes, especially if you have multiple cars to rotate through. I would say 5k a year is a lot of miles for an M5.

Hey, with the doom-and-gloom title of today’s “Morning Shift,” these might be the only vehicles available for a while , and low-profit sedans might just die out much more quickly. Be glad you can have these go-fast kinds ...

I really want an excuse to get one. It's easily obtainable for at least $10k off. But it's just not quite there ...

KBB values are wildly optimistic, IMO. Their “trade-in value” is closer to what I expect to get if I sell it myself. Actual trade-in values are probably 30% less.

I wonder how much New England dealers are going to mark up these things ... Would people dump the RAs now?

Ad let's face it -- most of us don't even have enough skill to run a modern crossover at 10/10ths on a track
