poor perspective-takingno skills.
I’ll throw in “books written by Generals” for those of us in the military. I once opened up the supply closet to look for printer ink (lol, no such luck) and found two huge stacks of books written by some guy who had gotten out in the early 00's. Never touched.
She probably lined up her household staff and made them listen.
The Germans have always had a way with words.
Turns out that advice from someone who works for Daddy and can’t be fired doesn’t apply to 99% of working women out there. Go figure.
They are the handwash-only plastic mug with the company logo.

Great article! I commented earlier that this book is in the grand tradition of books that are written and sold exclusively for corporate HR and sales managers to distribute to their staff as part of some kind of mandatory seminar. No one reads them, no one opens them, they’re basically props.
I never really ‘got’ Facebook, it seems like a way to keep in touch with people you don’t care about enough to actively contact. Which just seems like a waste of time. Although now when I tell people I don’t and haven’t ever had one they’ve stopped reacting like I was crushing a puppies head with my bare hands in…
I agree. She genuinely believes that she has made her way, has lots of fresh insights and big ideas, and has figured out how to have it all. Reality, as the vast majority understand it, is not a factor. She was born with money and given more when she wanted it. She has attended excellent schools — not through her…
The problem with books is that you can’t trick people with a low, breathy voice which makes cromulent words sound positively scrumtrulescent.
My guess would be women who get sucked into MLMs selling weight loss snake oil or tacky leggings, who genuinely think they’re “running a small business” and are entrepreneurs. I know one from high school who is constantly reading and posting about shit like this. Faux “inspirational” reading that she calls personal…
I can’t even believe that there are enough people that can’t see through her obvious stupidity and grifter nature to give her dime one. But hey, I have higher hopes for people I guess.
her book states how to be a socialite
I casually knew Ivanka Trump for several years. Her target audience is almost exclusively other people who were born on third base and think they hit a triple.
Maybe the Kardashian crowd? (Basically what you said.)
idiots.
Are those quotes from the book? Because “editor and chief” and “another way of how I” tell me that her editor FUCKING HATES HER.
Who is this woman’s audience? It certainly can’t be women who voted for her dipshit father, nor can it be women who didn’t. She’s a 15 year old mentally, who would take (woefully bad) advice from a bratty spoiled teenager?
