I think it's perfectly fair and reasonable to be sad about every aspect of this case.

Preach.
The Gorn in Arena were angry that the Feds entered what they perceived to be their territory. They responded to this threat by murdering everyone at the outpost and then faking a distress signal so they could lure more Feds in to kill. In the end, it's Kirk who shows mercy to the Gorn captain, not vice versa.
I thought Elizabeth Moss' dress was pretty unflattering.
Works great on my Galaxy Nexus.
Well, I think we're getting into tricky territory. She identifies as Asian, and I'm not really comfortable telling people they aren't [insert race here] enough.
Katie Chang is Asian (she plays the character based on Rachel Lee), so no, I don't believe there's any whitewashing there.
Right? Hanna was awesome.
I'm just going to say that all aspects of this case make me sad and leave it at that.
As a former Californian, I will back you up here. In N Out's french fries are absolutely awful. I've had people get furious at the suggestion that they are anything less than amazing, but they taste undercooked and raw. It is something they make fresh (because they brag about it) but they're doing something wrong,…
I was about to say, I am a former Californian who frequently comes back for a visit and has many friends there, and TONS of people call it Cali.
If that's the arrangement I don't think it's working out so well for her.
Yes, though to be fair the Good Witch of the North is really only in the first Oz book, and then never really features again. The '39 film combines the two roles into Glinda, The Good Witch of the South, so I imagine that's what they did here.
I agree. I like what she does, sometimes she stumbles onto something really interesting, but I find a lot of her critiques are poorly researched.
It's also worth noting that he likely changed his views on this after his marriage, especially considering the fact that his mother-in-law was such a strong influence on him and was a noted activist for Native rights.
Dorothy is public domain, so there's no reason why they couldn't have mentioned her. Though obviously it wouldn't make much sense, since this is probably before she was even born.
I'd rather go on a Mexican vacation with Lucy Liu, Coco Rocha and Solange. That sounds much more enjoyable. Cameron Diaz kinda seems like The Worst.
It sounds like a great noir thriller.
