I think the best description would be "Teenage Kara".

How can the review note the appalling, woeful inadequacies of the episode and then dismiss serious problems as "minor critiques" and give it an A-?

Yeah it happened once twenty years ago, so it's a trope.

That's the trouble. I love genre TV and the premise of a super hero show will draw me in, even if it is done very, very badly. The only genre show in recent years I managed not to watch is Smallville and really because that was a soapy love drama rather than a super hero show.

It's hard to describe just how bad this show is becoming.

And some in Tropical Asia too. But very limited and much of what exists was dug up beneath layers of soil and vegetation. And it's ONLY solid stone structures.

Actually Tunnels are more unbelievable than streamers when they are in an earthquake zone beneath water. The tunnels would be flooded within one to ten years without pumping.

Having seen Arthur Darville be amazing in a very similar role for several years, I think Rip is much more due to the writing than miscasting. They give him all the chunks of unwieldy exposition, really undermining the character.

On balance, I'd suggest that initially it was the former but the more and more the latter happens, the more that takes things down further.

By whoever, there are always people who take offence.

I'm not saying it is wrong that she would have left in the chair.

Glass is a liquid and you have the internet. If you want to find some amazing things its only a google away. 3000 years is long enough for any glass window pane to drip out. You don't even need to wait that long. Any building around 200 years old with the original glass will show noticeable warping in the panes as

After really antiicpating this show, it's just been such a monumental disappointment.

That article is making the same mistake a lot of people in this thread are. They are taking the wild speculation of the author as quotes from Kreisberg. The actual quotes from Kreisberg do not reveal anything like what is being speculated in the article.

A lot of people seem to be misreading the EW article on who Zoom is.

Jay and Zolomon are separated twins.

The quote on the EQ article says "the Jay we know" which can just as easily mean the Actor. Most of the EW article is wild speculation from the author and not actual quotes.

There's a very straighforward explanation. Jay and Zolomon are separated twins.

I came up with my theory on who Zoom is last week and it still holds true (even more so) after this episode.

Kyle sees fridging where no fridge exists. Fridging requires significant character development and an emotional attachment from the audience to the character which dies. This doesn't exist with Gina so it's far from fridging. Gina is a redshirt which is a perfectly acceptable trope for story progression.
