She goes by the Duchess of Cornwall because "Princess of Wales" is still so associate with Diana. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duchess_o…
Oh I'm not apologizing. It's more that I find it hilarious that there's, like, MAYBE a thousand people on the entire planet who are INTENSELY invested in questions like the proper succession for the royal family of Monaco and the right way to address Camilla Parker-Bowles and who proceeds first into the drawing room…
The older twin inherits the throne, unless the younger twin convinces the older, dumber twin to trade Monaco for some red pottage. I thought we cleared this shit up thousands of years ago! Let's get back to laughing at how Prince Albert shares his name with a dick piercing.
If Prince Albert really loved his first two children he'd get the Vatican to legitimize them.
It seems like we're splitting heirs here until the actual birth occurs.
If her sister is THAT sick, she wouldn't have waited that long to be seen. And if she wasn't that sick, then she doesn't NEED to get seen that fast. There's no excuse for this at all.
The era of people crying Ebola is upon us.
Boy you're really doubling down on prioritizing shtick over compassion for someone who risked her life in the service of caring for others, got screwed over by those who were supposed to protect and advise her, and who is probably wracked with incredible guilt while worrying that she's going to die (not to mention…
I know! Who goes to an actual store now, especially one you have to fly across the country to? I don't even buy cat litter at the store (Amazon Prime 4 lyfe).
Yep, I agree with you that medical professionals seem much less likely to take the advice they would give to their patients!
I mean, has she heard of the internet? I hear they have all kinds of things you can shop for on there nowadays. Even hideous pink fluffy bubble dresses or whatever.
I agree with everything you said. It's awful that she couldn't use her common sense, and now an unknown number of people are going to have to suffer because of it. I think medical professionals are completely desensitized to a lot of things when it comes to their personal health. I have several family members who are…
Ebola Bride. Thank you. I now have a Halloween costume idea.
The bride I'm working for (she'll be my friend again next Sunday) took me on a 6 hour shopping trip to look at dresses. This was after at least two nights going over catalogs together. And we still didn't find one she liked. So, yeah, it's possible. Sad, right?
This woman is a NURSE. She seems to be suffering from an extreme lack of common sense. She just treated a patient who died of Ebola; she's not exactly the kind of person they're probably trained to interact with at the 1-800-DO-I-HAVE-EBOLA hotline at the CDC. And did she really feel that relying on their…
Everyone around her sounds like a moron, but here's my main Beef, she is a nurse. One would think someone w a degree in nursing would know better than to take some of the risk she took. I'm not saying she and her co worker shouldn't be able to go about their normal lives, I just wish they would've used more discretion…
The thing is, I suspect the virus can't live very long on fabric. So even if she was symptomatic, those dresses are probably fine. (Can't necessarily say the same for hard surfaces like the bathroom, seats, counters, etc.)
I honestly think that's exactly what happened: Some low-level person read off a pre made checklist that fever begins at 100.4 gave the go-ahead ... and later someone who actually has a clue found out and did the biggest facepalm in the history of the world.
It seems like the Health Department is just pandering to the general public's hysteria at this point. According to the CDC website, "Ebola on dried on surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops can survive for several hours; however, virus in body fluids (such as blood) can survive up to several days at room…
