Gotcha! Makes sense to me.
Gotcha! Makes sense to me.
That’s quite an... interesting read of his post...
Black Vortex is what happened to Angel. Him, Groot, Gamora, and Kitty Pryde I think were the only ones that had lasting visual effects from it. Though I think Kitty is back to normal after the relaunch. They’ve been kinda inconsistent with how Groot is drawn. And Gamora we’ve only seen on the final page of the new…
Angel was transformed into fulfilling his “ultimate potential" by the power of the Black Vortex. See the inevitable Black Vortex trade paperback.
Two things:
I love X-23, so I'll give it a try when the trade comes out. That said, I still miss Logan. He was one of my favorites.
X-23 is so bad ass, she’ll make a fine Wolverine.
Absolutely agreed, and you’re absolutely right.
And on many job applications (at least in Texas), there is a little box “have you ever sued an employer?” That is a quick way for your resume to go straight in to the trash for future jobs.
This.
Looks like I was wrong as fuck. I figured it wasn’t someone close that did this. Thanks.
Like this guy, I’m a teaching professor (read: not tenured) at a major state university. I would not cancel my class, but I would sure as f*ck not penalize anyone who missed it. If it were an exam day, I’d probably postpone the exam and spend the hour talking about what is going on on the campus. Let all the white…
Is it professors’ job to determine when threats against a specific group of students are baseless or not? No. I think you respect your students’ safety AND their safety concerns and let the professionals do their jobs.
If the school isn’t closed, why would he close his class? If you shut something down every time there is a baseless threat, you let the assholes win
Agreed. People don’t seem to understand that you can both respect and support rape victims while still determining the veracity of their claims. This story couldn’t have sounded more made up. If they wanted to do something on college rape, it would of gone like this:
A. Crappy child/disabled/elder care
Just because they’re a frat doesn’t mean that they lose their right to not be libeled.
I wholeheartedly disagree. The three accused young men are damaged beyond repair at this point. Every prospective employer for the rest of their lives will see they were once accused of raping a girl in college. That stigma doesn’t go away.
“And nobody should ever apologize for raising awareness about rape culture.”
Probably should sue you and Jezebel for libel while they are at it.
