Pretty much this. If they allow this to stand it greatly weakens legal arguments for not doing the inverse.

That said, the issue here isn’t about the intellectual area of theory but the rational application of law.

The narrative that supporters of the candidate who wants to do the absolute most for the poor and downtrodden are actually entitled is so laughable.

This is so infuriating. We have a historic election in terms of the actual political landscape and everyone treats it like this is just the same-old, same-old GOP and Dems.

Funny enough, non-competes are actually illegal and non-enforable in some states (CA & NC completely). Here’s a chart. They’re also frequently limited in scope via legislation and can be very messy as they rely on legal definitions for various things state-by-state.
