That is true with any car, save some money and buy a used one.

I don’t want to reply to suhproblems and bring him out of the greys but they are the kind of people that I am talking about. Idiots.
Anyone thinking it was going to get a Turbo in this generation was a complete idiot anyways. Toyota teamed up with Subaru because of cost savings....you know what doesn’t save money? R&D for a new engine mid-cycle.
Yes they should have called the police instead of approaching him in the parking lot. You call the cops and let them know an armed individual is leaving the bar driving drunk. Good guy with gun comes and arrests bad guy with gun.
Whats your point? The punishment still does not fit the crime for a child.
After looking over the actual patent the engine in the drawing has nothing to do with it. The patent is for “Method to control an electrically-operate turbocharger in a supercharged internal combustion engine”.
Overrated.
I have a feeling the estimates are off, I really don’t see the new supra making the same power as the last generation Z4, the car it is sharing the new motor with. My guess is the supra will end up around 400hp/400tq.
I think it should be mandatory that when selling crazy cars like this the owner should be pictured. Im always fascinated by what someone who would own this looks like.
Then by that logic every car is in development. Do you know many concepts the design department does internally? Do you understand that there are design concepts with no hope of ever being greenlit?
Personally I don’t think the projected HP numbers are correct. There is no way BMW releases a new Z4 with the same power as the last gen one. Personally I think this will be a 400/400ish car.
E92 M3. Honestly, its been a great car but with our family getting bigger I wont be able to make it to the track as much as I use too. I’m looking for a more everyday sports car.
Nah, just don’t worry so much. That is what warranties are for :)
So to you as soon as someone says something that is the start of development?
You know what I mean. Rumor mill, design concepts, etc.. does not mean a car is in development.
I really don’t think this will be a true grand tourer. The GT86/BRZ has shown Toyota is going after actual sports cars. I think a Mustang GT will be softer and more GT than what the Supra ends up being. But thats just my thoughts.
Well no shit, anyone could have called that. Hell back when Akio announced he wanted to do sports cars again everyone knew the Supra would be resurrected.
Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell.
Whatever, if you think so. I really don’t care to explain how companies work to you. Just showing a random concept from the company does not mean it has been in production. I suggest you do research on the design department of a car company and what they do. Companies are constantly working on concepts, that does not…
Those people have some problems if they get that hyped about a car. I’m actually going to be looking at getting one and even i’m not that crazy.
