Hays is like the easiest town on earth to walk or bike around. It literally takes ten minutes on bike to get from Fort Hays State to the other end of town. It’s hard to not live within walking distance of a Dillon’s. It’s flat, Vine is the only real stroad you have to deal with, and nothing is more than 2 miles away.
