Yeah, but, uh, Monroe has power now & has ramped the Bullet Factory up to maximum production levels. But also yeah, typical of this show to take one of its few strengths, sword fighting, & flush it down the toilet.

Surely there's no need to choose in this modern era.

Surely this show is trying to be clever, so Baker & chums were actually behind the assassination attempt, and the execution was staged for Monroe's benefit. Either that or Pellegrino signed up for a new show & had to leave.

I suppose the show had a minor triumph of a sort, in that it did have me pondering Stalin & his own murderous paranoia. The two men are not entirely dissimilar.

Manufactured tension. There's no reason Castle & Beckett can't make it work no matter which city each lives or works in. The real question is the other cast members, as you say. But I suppose it would be an awkward episode if the question was whether Beckett & Castle were going to break up with Espo & Ryan.

They've been off because Castle can't do serious episodes. Serious just isn't in its nature. Of course, this is well-established, & we put up with it because we love Mr. Fillion & are absurdly loyal to him. Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

So, Phil, I take it you didn't enjoy the episode?

More Machiavelli = better Borgias.

Does Jordan have exclusive rights to the show or something? Give it a new show runner, or whatever they call it on pay cable, & keep the franchise plugging away. Surely his vision isn't so singular that only Jordan can produce The Borgias. Get it done, Showtime!

Now you take that back! Let's don't be giving our Carrie grief for her thoughtful reviews. She does us right with Revenge & The Vampire Diaries.

Am I wrong for thinking that Conrad didn't join The Initiative until he was in jail, arrested for murder? Or did the scene between him & Ms. Initiative in his jail cell happen long before that? I hope I was the only one confused by that. I'd prefer Conrad only joined after the murder arrest, otherwise we're rewriting

There was also a collective "Noooooo!!!!!" from Casa Superman. We are crushed. They'd better get him out quickly. Nolan's smartassery & one-liners are a/the highlight of the show. I doubt we'd get too many of those from Imprisoned Nolan. This cannot stand.

Joshua Jackson please. Or Ben McKenzie. Derek Luke, in a pinch. That awful son from Vegas. Maybe Grey Damon. The weird kid from the first few episodes of Pretty Little Liars (I only watched the first few episodes.) David Oakes (Juan Borgia.)

Hard to tell if Graham is a poor actress or just that Bonnie is such a wretched character that nothing Graham does can redeem Bonnie.

Vaughn: accent + better weapons - lisp = sort of neat character but not very scary

At least Cult is a huge hit, so no regrets, eh?

What's next? Full body hair? Sprout a huge forehead? Removal of FOXP2 gene to eliminate the ability to speak? Olivier is a dipshit.

Sarah having been w/Vic just shows how rock bottom her life had become. No self-esteem, abusive boyfriend, reduced to stealing drugs. Not too farfetched for adopted kids with difficult backgrounds, no matter how cool they might be. A fair percentage of us (more than non-adopteds) act out & get in trouble in our

Sarah might not have needed back up, but she wasn't to know that. She had Helena, a crazy dangerous loon, on the way. All she needed was to buy time for Paul (and herself, as it turned out.)

I was wondering when the discussion on who's the original would come up here. Has Helena just been told she is, or is she really?
