Funny how I (like many people, I imagine, or hope) totally hated Gary at the beginning of Alphas. Then he turned into my favorite character. Syfy has been playing mini-marathons. I hope it starts back soon.

I was able to wipe my mind shortly after reading that spoiler. Sort of. I just acquired that movie a few weeks ago. Now I kind of want to watch it.

Then she goes outside to give Martin some attitude and, in the process, lose Leon, the dog that has been entrusted to her care.

The best part of this episode is being able to download an uncensored version from CC next week. I feel like this one had a record number of fucks in it. I never get tired of hearing small children say "fuck."

♫suck my balls, suck my balls♫

First rule of Drama Club is condition yourself to press Pause as soon as the final scene ends.

As soon as they cut to Sherman & dead Ronnie, my wife said "he shot the wrong guy." Obviously he didn't, but we never saw Ronnie's face during that sequence, so there was just enough doubt for me to tense up during the chase.

Send Cary to work with Canning. That way we get more MJF scheming & triple-reverse bluffs where he ultimately gets what he wants in the end.

FDT just looks like he's 158-years-old yet still thinks he's got game with the ladies. He's gross. That's a good enough argument for me to keep him off the show.

You weren't on the edge of your seat during the car wash scene? Cooper desperately shouting at Tang, then realizing that it's all up to him to do the dirty work. And then Sherman running down Ronnie. Those got my blood pumping.

The best part of that scene was Cooper shooting while moving toward LA Kings guy. That is some badass stuff, ignoring the bullets flying at you while advancing purposefully.

Gotta train yourself to avoid the previews. It's worth the effort.

I agree that the music at the end was perfect. It's almost like Sherman feels he needed to do something dirty to prove he really belongs as a cop, to put his Richie Rich past behind him. So maybe he wasn't simply obsessed with Ronnie, but wanted a way to prove that he's not just a goody two shoes cop, but one who does

@avclub-d9e05dbd20de3ab8e9a0d724e584b87d:disqus Man, you guys have a much better eye for detail than I do. I didn't notice the keychain, and I sure didn't notice the different model guns. Hell, I didn't put 2 & 2 together about Sherman cleaning 2 guns = possibly planting one on Ronnie.

$1.9m house! There's only one reason someone on her income would buy that much house, and that reason doesn't really fit Alicia. Social status seems like something she's never been bothered with before. If they want to make this part of the story, they probably should've used a slightly less expensive house. Hard to

Fair point, but Diane's not looking for a long-term love interest to be best friends with & develop a deep bond of trust. She just wants to get laid.

@olivececile:disqus I don't understand the assertion (others have made as well) that Canning took offense at being used by Alicia. He simply stated the facts. He was used, but the show has only ever shown him to be cold & calculating behind the act he puts on in court (or wherever it serves him.)

@avclub-e6c1142acfaceea3982a09641b33fc04:disqus So he's looking forward to the return of The Killing, and you're staying with him because…?

Tammy's worse than guys in a pissing contest. And she sounded like a high school cheerleader crying that the homecoming queen stole her boyfriend. I did like how Alicia initially looked down her nose at Tammy. 3rd-year associate at big law firm trumps itinerant journalist begging for scraps of quotes.

The great attraction of this episode is the actor playing Webb. His was the best character in The Pacific, and he was also excellent in 24. I'd watch him in anything.
